P4O Attends Coach Mikes 1 Day Program Design & Periodisation Course For Allied Health Professionals

This weekend just gone saw osteopaths Heath, Tim and Cathryn of Principle Four Osteopathy attend Strength and Conditioning Coach Michael Crichton 1 day course designed specifically for allied health professionals (osteopaths, exercise physiologists, chiropractors, myotherapists and physiotherapists).  The course was held at GW Performance in South Yarra (one of Melbourne most prestigious privately run training studios).    The day was well attended by a mix of allied health professionals and was a good blend of both theoretical and practical application.

The course was designed to ensure we could:

  • Prescribe programming variables effectively
  • Design and develop periodised rehab programs
  • Understand movement preparation and how to apply
  • Bridge the gap between rehab and strength and conditioning

Below are just a few pics from the days events and I am glad to say that we all learnt a great deal from the day and will be better equipped to work with our clients who are returning from injury to either their chosen sport or activity based goal.

For those allied health professionals who are currently working with injured clients and/or are helping guide them on their rehab process, be sure to keep an eye out on any future courses held by Michael.  Check out his webpage at http://coachmike.com.au/.
