Overhead Squat To Box

I am currently in the process of working on my overhead bar position, shoulder and trunk position with the squat and have started introducing this exercise as a drill to include into my program to help with this.  The aim is to maintain alignment with the bar, arms and trunk in as an upright position as possible.  Rather than sitting back onto the box with a hip dominant pattern, the aim is to sit up and down in the vertical plane.  This requires the person to open up through the hips as one would in the traditional squat movement pattern.
