More Outdoor Training Exercise Ideas

When it comes to training outdoors, make sure you don’t limit yourself and make the most of the equipment around you.  In the following videos we see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrate two great exercises using the swing that we will find in almost every outdoor playground.

Using The Swing To Train The Triceps

In the video above we see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrate a triceps extension exercise using the outdoor play swing.  For those wanting to regress the exercise, start in a more upright position. To make this exercise more difficult, get yourself lower to the ground.

Using The Swing To Train The Core

In the exercise above we see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy use the outdoor swing to perform a great exercise for the core.  To make the exercise easier and short the range of motion of the swing moving away from the body.  To make it more difficult, get yourself lower the ground and move the swing further away from the body.
