Mallet Push Up

This exercise is a progression on one previously that I posted on my instagram account @heathosteoprinciplefourosteopathy and involves you having to hold the mallet palm up with the top hand and palm down on the bottom hand.  You are required to stabilise the torso and then perform a push up.  The exercise feels as though it biases towards the bottom hand with the load, however you must try and keep the mallet relatively stable.

If you are currently suffering from a shoulder injury, please consult with your osteopath before trying this exercise.
