Low to High Reverse Cable Fly – Conditioning Your Back and Shoulders

In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams demonstrating a low to high reverse cable fly.  This is a great exercise for those wishing to develop strength and endurance through the shoulders and back.  This exercise trains all those key back muscles that are often forgotten in many conventional training programs.  It manages to hit your rotator cuff, traps, levator scapulae, rhomboids, serratus and lats.   When adding this exercise into your training program, start with light weights so that you can train through the full available range of motion.  Starting too heavy too soon will reduce the range of motion available and compromise the exercise.
