Kettlebell Alternating Press

The kettlebell press is a great exercise for building vertical pressing strength and power.  The great thing about the kettlebell is that you it allows you to press from a neutral position in front compared to the barbell which places your arm in an externally rotated and abducted position.  So it is an ideal exercise for those who may suffer from shoulder impingement issues.

The alternating press is just one example of how one my vary their overhead pressing movements.  You can alter this exercise by pressing one kettlebell up and down before the opposite kettelbell is pressed or you can look to scissor press them (that is as one goes up, the other comes down).
