Jefferson Deadlift

I have been recently playing around with the Jefferson deadlift in some of my workouts.  The Jefferson deadlift certainly looks awkward and very different to that of the traditional deadlift or trap bar deadlift.  You start by standing over the bar with it between your legs and therefore having one foot in front of the bar and one foot behind the bar.  The same goes for the grip hold on the bar.  The Jefferson deadlift requires you to control the bar with regards to rotation whilst pulling it up off the floor and therefore adds a further challenge to the deadlift as you are required to counter the rotational torque.  I am still playing around with these lifts in my program, so will look to update you further as my practice evolves.
