Having Some Fun With The Chin Up

When it comes to performing vertical pulling movements in the gym, often we will see the same old chin up with neutral, pronated or supinated grips.  You will also see the Lat Pull Down Machine in use with its various attachments.  For those looking to challenge themselves a bit more, why not try varying your chin up routine a little.

In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopath performing a chin up that has him pulling to one side and then pulling his body across to the other side before lowering himself down.  This loads one side of the body more and also requires the individual to maintain tension in their body as they hold themselves in the top phase of the movement.
