Foam Roller Hip Extension – Birddog Modification

In the video below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients performing a modified birddog exercise that involves one balancing both knees on a foam roller to challenge stability (ensure the knees are under the hips) as well as maintaining contact with the floor through the hands (ensure hands are stacked under ones shoulders).  Whilst maintaining a stable spine position they are required to extend through the leg which focuses on the primary hip extensor muscles (gluteals).
