Recently we have been having a number of clients present to Principle Four Osteopathy suffering from osteoarthritis of the knees, hips and spine.  Many of these individuals are keen to continue being active and participate in activities like tennis, golf, hiking, bush walking, cycling and swimming and they are wanting to know more about what they can do to help maintain the strength and mobility in their joints.  For many of these clients, we have been able to prescribe them a variety of stretches, mobility exercises and strengthening exercises to help them better manage their pain levels as well as continue with these activities.  Whilst this is not always possible for all sufferers of arthritis, those with mild to moderate osteoarthritis have been able to manage their conditions through physical activity.

The reason I am writing this blog post is to provide a number of webpage links and resources that I have found useful for my clients.   Simply click on the link to be directed to these patient handouts.  These have all been sourced from the Arthritis Australia website.
