Dynamic Hip Mobiliser

If you are looking for a more active approach to mobilising your hips, then be sure to try out the mobility exercises in the videos below.  Osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy has provided 3 different hip mobility drills that focus on mobilising the hips in all three planes of movement.  These ideas have been sourced from the Gray Institute that focuses on Applied Functional Science.

The above mobility drills are examples of how one can mobilise the hip in the sagittal, transverse and frontal plane.  It is advised that should you have any specific lower back or lower limb complaints, then you should consult with your osteopath before trying these.

Given that the leg is a heavy lever, start off with small arcs of movement and build up to larger ranges of motion.
