Deficit Kettlebell Deadlift

In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy performing a deficit kettlebell deadlift.  A deficit exercise allows one to overload at the bottom phase of the movement.  In this exercise one will require the appropriate movement to ensure they are able to safely get into the correct position or else they may increase their risk of injury due to overloading or straining musculoskeletal structures.  The deficit kettlebell is great if you are wanting to work on improving strength at the start phase of the movement.

If you would like to find out more about changing up your exercise program or would like some advice on exercise rehab from a specific injury, then please be sure to contact us at the clinic.
