Closed Chain Loading Through The Upper Limb

In the video below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients performing a closed chain loading exercise that focuses on managing gentle load through range of movement of the wrists, elbows and shoulder girdle.  Whilst this exercise is largely focused on mobilising the wrist, this exercise was also prescribed to focus on having the client handle load through the elbow and shoulder girdle.  This drill can be progressed/regressed by varying the load (weight), range of motion, direction of mobilisation, speed, duration and reps/sets.
