Chest Supported Row Isometric Hold

More often than not I see a big focus on the concentric or eccentric phase of the lift and timing of this.  In addition to this I will often add in isometric holds for various exercises at the mid point phase of the movement i.e. top of the chest supported row, top of the chin up or pull up etc.  You are then having to work hard to maintain a hold of the load against gravity.
