Camber Bar Bench Press

The Camber Bar is a great speciality training bar to have in your training tool kit because it is versatile and can be used for a variety of exercises, ranging from squats, goodmornings, shoulder pressing and bench press.  The bar is designed so that when you are pushing/pulling/moving the bar, it will move slightly and therefore you are required to stabilise the bar more than you would a normal olympic barbell.  This changes the movement pattern and exercise stimulus slightly and therefore allows you to add further variety to your training program.

In the video below we see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrating a Camber Bar Bench Press.

If you would like to find out how you can vary up your training program, be sure to book in to see osteopath Heath Williams at Principle Four Osteopathy.
