Bottom Up Kettlebell Overhead Press Combined With Single Leg Balance

In the videos below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrating a couple of variations of a bottom up kettlebell overhead press with single leg balance as well as a marching step. The bottom up kettlebell press is a demanding exercise in its own right as requires a great deal of wrist stability and strength as well as shoulder stability (due to the kettlebell design and likelihood of movement). This has been combined with a single leg balance hold (both same side and opposite side) which requires stability through the lower body and trunk. You will also see another variation where this is integrated with a dynamic march which also requires balance, stability and coordination.

If you are going to try this exercise, first look to master the separate components of the exercise i.e. bottom up kettlebell press and single leg balance hold. Then look to combine the two at once. Note: Please look to reduce the load of the kettlebell initially when trying this out.
