Bottom Up Kettlebell Hinge to Squat – An Osteopaths Perspective

In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrating a bottoms up kettlebell hinge to squat.  The hip hinge (a movement characterised by more dominant hip movement compared to knee and more associated with a horizontal movement of the hips) and squat (more equal hip and knee movement and typically associated with more of a vertical movement) are two movements that I will incorporate into pretty much everyone’s training program.  In this video you will see a nice little version that lets one move from one pattern to the next.
