Bilateral Box Jump – Adding Some Plyometrics Into The Training Program

In the video below you will see osteopath Heath Williams of Principle Four Osteopathy demonstrating a bilateral box jump.  The box jump is a great way to train lower body power.  When thinking about adding in some plyometrics, look to start with a low box and build up gradually.  You should also be mindful to incorporate an appropriate movement prep phase into your program and make sure you don’t overload the body too much (that is perform too many box jumps or else you are likely to have a great deal of post training soreness).
