Manual Handling can be defined as anything that involves lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying something. The majority of workplace injuries in the workplace occurs as a result of manual handling tasks, with most individuals resulting in a strain/sprain injury. The lower back is probably by far the most common area injured in relation to manual handling.
