Ankle Rehab Calf Stretch – Frontal Plane Focus

In the image below you will see one of Principle Four Osteopathy clients performing a calf stretch with a frontal leg driver (moving side to side) to help stretch the calf.  The individual has been advised to avoid crossing the midline with the front moving leg so to avoid a directional stress through the ankle which may lead to further inversion.  This was prescribed early on in the rehab program for the client and they were advised to work through a range they felt comfortable with.
