3 Point Kneeling Thoracic Spine Mobility Drill

This is a great exercise drill for those wanting to improve thoracic spine movement in an individual who requires a bit more stability.  In this exercise drill we have the client initially starting in the 4 point kneeling position on the ground and then using one arm to drive motion through the body to create a chain reaction.  In this video you see osteopath Heath Williams move the arms across the body in the frontal plane to create a side bending motion through the spine.  He also moves the arm in the transverse motion to create rotation through the body.

This exercise can be varied by changing the start position, as well as the arm angle, speed and distance reached.
